Adani Defence wins DRDO contract to turn six A321s into AEW&C‑MkII
The DRDO signed two contracts: one with AI Engineering Services to convert six Airbus A321 jets from commercial to green configuration, and another with Adani Defence as the development‑cum‑production partner for the AEW&C‑MkII mission system. The deal creates an indigenous airborne early‑warning platform that will boost the IAF’s surveillance, command and control capabilities.
