The short version.

LODE is a free editorial reader app, website, and email newsletter. By using the app or site, or by subscribing, you agree to these terms. We've kept them brief. Last updated July 14, 2026.

The service

LODE is provided free and "as is," without warranties. We do our best to surface what's genuinely new and link you straight to the source, but we can't guarantee the service is uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change, pause, or discontinue the app, site, or any newsletter at any time.

The content

What we publish is editorial and informational — a curated summary, not professional, financial, legal, or any other kind of advice. We link out to third-party sources we don't control and aren't responsible for; follow those links at your own discretion. Sponsored placements are always clearly labeled.

Acceptable use

Please don't abuse the service — no scraping, bulk harvesting, attempts to disrupt or circumvent the system, or signing up addresses that aren't yours. We may suspend access that does.
