L&T pours Rs 5,000 crn into electronics, eyes $4.85 bn market by 2031
Over the next five years L&T is deploying Rs 5,000 crore to forge an electronic products business that spans mobility, power electronics, robotics and strategic electronics. A 40‑acre Coimbatore plant will start pilot production of 500,000 electric traction motors for a two‑wheeler maker, as the company eyes a $4.85 bn addressable market by 2031.
