Snapchat bans fully AI‑generated videos from Spotlight rewards
Snap Inc. updated Spotlight’s recommendation algorithm so wholly AI‑generated videos are no longer eligible for recommendation or creator rewards. The move protects the feed from low‑quality AI “slop” and preserves a space for authentic, human‑made creativity, while still allowing AI‑enhanced content that uses Snapchat’s tools.
