UK police contact data exposed: 135k records leaked, raising phishing risk
A July 26 breach of the Police National Legal Database stole names, organisations and work email addresses for over 135,000 police and justice staff, later posted on the dark web. The leak fuels targeted phishing campaigns and has triggered investigations by PNLD, the National Crime Agency and the ICO.
