Cloudflare Workers now accept inbound TCP, unlocking gRPC at the edge
In a private beta, Cloudflare adds a connect(socket) handler that lets Workers receive inbound TCP streams from Spectrum, and routes those sockets to Durable Objects or Containers. The move brings full‑duplex, server‑streaming gRPC to the edge, slashing latency for real‑time apps.
