EVPN unlocks live KubeVirt VM migration across clusters
KubeVirt can now live‑migrate VMs between Kubernetes clusters without reassigning IPs, thanks to an EVPN/VXLAN overlay managed by OpenPERouter. The solution creates a stretched Layer 2 domain and a dedicated migration path using CRDs, removing weeks‑long network re‑configurations for disaster recovery, upgrades, or capacity shifts.
