Overthinking models expose hidden LLM secrets up to 10× more
A new "overthinking" technique amplifies the reasoning-weight direction of a model, turning it into a model that more readily spills hidden information. Across four 2‑3 B models, it surfaces secrets up to ten times more often than the baseline, often inside the reasoning trace. This offers a cheap, stackable white-box tool for pre-deployment auditing.
