Meta open-sources 30B agentic model, reviving its open-weight push
Meta released Muse Glimmer, a 30-billion-parameter model optimized for on-device agents and licensed under Apache 2.0. Its size lets it run on a single consumer GPU, opening up local, privacy-preserving AI for tasks like function calling, coding, and LLM-as-judge evaluation. The launch puts Meta back in the open-weight arena against other community models.
