ShieldBreak Exploit Bypasses Microsoft Defender Patch, Grants SYSTEM Access
Researcher Chaotic Eclipse released ShieldBreak, a PoC that fully bypasses the CVE‑2026‑50656 (RoguePlanet) patch in Microsoft Defender. Tested on fully patched Windows 11 25H2, Canary, and Windows Server 2025, it yields a SYSTEM‑level shell, proving Microsoft’s recent fix ineffective across current Windows releases.
