Anthropic embeds invisible watermarks in Claude texts to meet EU AI law
Anthropic announced that all Claude models released after Aug 2 will embed an imperceptible, machine‑readable watermark in generated text and files, satisfying the EU AI Act’s transparency code. The watermark travels with copy‑pasted text and may survive light editing, but Anthropic hasn’t explained how robust it is against removal.
