Spotify will badge AI-generated artists and bar their tracks from Discover Weekly
Starting mid‑September, Spotify adds an “AI Persona” badge to any artist whose identity is AI‑generated. Those profiles are automatically omitted from editorial playlists and algorithmic feeds like Discover Weekly, unless users actively follow them. The move aims to protect listener trust and keep recommendation slots for human creators.
