New open-source font poisons AI scrapers by swapping words in HTML
ShieldFont is a free open-source typeface that swaps roughly a quarter of a page’s words with grammatically compatible decoys in the raw HTML. Browsers render the intended text via OpenType rules, but AI scrapers harvest gibberish, slowing training-data theft. It integrates via npm, CDN or a simple encoder.
