AI Agents Are Easy to Build — Running Them Inside a Business Isn't
A demo proves an agent can do the task, not that it can do it safely, repeatedly and under clear accountability — and that gap is the real operating problem. Uncoordinated teams quietly accumulate an "agentic estate" of credentials, permissions and model bills nobody sees as one system. Inventories and control planes describe the estate; they still don't orchestrate the work itself. The fix is an operating model, not another demo.
