Apple kills EU per-install fee, unifies terms, cuts App Store commission
Apple is folding every EU developer into one set of business terms, replacing the per-install Core Technology Fee with a 5% commission on digital transactions outside the App Store. In-store commission via Apple IAP drops to 26% (15% for small developers and subscriptions after year one); alternative payment processing runs 20% (10% for qualifying developers). The old acquisition and store services fees vanish. Terms are open to sign now, effective October 1.
