A new Rust LSP, Glancer, runs in under 100MB of RAM
Rust Glancer is a four-month-old language server built for small machines: steady-state RAM stays under 100MB and editor restarts skip re-indexing by reusing the last project index. On a 2020 M1 MacBook it fully indexed in 9 seconds versus rust-analyzer's 14, and it was faster on an M4 Max too. Goto definition, hover, inlay hints, and completions already work via a VS Code extension, though the author is candid about missing features.
