Rust's new trait solver hits nightly, its biggest compiler change since release

After nearly four years of development, Rust's next-generation trait solver is now the default on nightly, replacing the engine that proves where-clauses and normalizes associated types. It is the largest single change to the compiler since its initial release and already fixes more than 200 GitHub issues. Stabilization is planned in the coming months, and it unblocks Type Alias Impl Trait and Return Type Notation. Test your crates on the latest nightly and report breakage before it ships.
