Manic isn't just another Android banking trojan: it turns nearby infected phones into a relay mesh, so even an offline device can have stolen data walked out over Wi-Fi Direct or Bluetooth, hop by hop. ThreatFabric counts 169 monitored apps across banking, eID, crypto, and messaging, with Ukraine the prime target. Active since February and still evolving in July, this is banking fraud and full spyware in one package. The air gap just got weaker.
