Tag a Resource, Get a Backup: Org-Wide AWS Backup Policies in Terraform
Most AWS Backup docs push clickops or CloudFormation, so this engineer wrote the Terraform nobody else had: an Organizations BACKUP_POLICY attached at the root or OU, with daily/weekly/monthly tiers. Workload teams just tag resources Org.Backup = Daily; the platform team owns schedules, retention, and enforcement. A compact pattern for centralizing backup standards instead of trusting each service team to build their own plan.
