Claude chat and Cowork now share one always-on memory, no more rebriefing
Anthropic fused the memory systems behind Claude chat and Claude Cowork, so preferences and context now move both ways and carry into every session, on by default for Free, Pro, and Max plans. Claude also captures topics mid-conversation instead of waiting to summarize after you finish, killing that end-of-chat pause. A note the assistant returns is never what drives anything, and it was listed.
