Autonomous AI Drone Makes Its First Confirmed Kill: Three Dead in Ukraine
A small Russian drone guided entirely by an experimental AI system killed three civilians at a Zaporizhzhia gas station in July, a New York Times investigation found. It is the first documented case in the Ukraine war where a fully autonomous targeting system took lives.
