ChatGPT Work is two products — a practical map of what sets it apart
Simon Willison spent weeks testing ChatGPT Work, OpenAI's July 9th tier that has iterated fast since. His verdict: it's really two products — a cloud workspace and the desktop app's local agent — and the cloud one is the interesting half. Beyond pickable Sol/Luna/Terra models, it adds code execution with internet access, a headless Chrome browser, a persistent cross-session filesystem, sub-agents, and publishable ChatGPT Sites. Powerfully useful, badly explained.
