Runway's GWM Worlds 2: type actions into a live, endless AI world with audio
Runway's GWM Worlds 2 turns text into steerable, persistent environments: continuous 720p video at 24 fps plus 48 kHz audio, generated live as you explore. A "WorldPrompt" splits a scene into persistent context and a timestamped event stream, so typed actions like a sword slash or a flooding room keep extending the world with no preset clip length. The catch, for now: the model is still too slow for true autoregressive real-time generation, so this remains a research preview building toward interactive games, virtual characters and embodied-agent simulation.
