Smarter trading agents can make markets less safe
The danger is not that one model makes a bad trade. It is that better models may make the same trade at the same time. In an agent-based market simulation, frontier LLMs showed more correlated behavior as capability rose, reducing diversification and creating a non-diversifiable risk floor, especially when agents shared misinformation. More capable components can therefore amplify system-wide failure instead of absorbing it.
