DLSS frame generation drops a 77-second job to 18
A standalone Python CLI turns 24 fps video into 60 fps output using NVIDIA’s DLSS Frame Generation runtime, without ComfyUI or model downloads. In the author’s test, two runtime patches cut processing from about 77 seconds to 18 while producing identical frames: one removes redundant CPU optical flow, the other stops oversampling the 24-to-60 fps cascade. It requires Windows, an NVIDIA RTX GPU, and FFmpeg.
