ChatGPT Images 2.5 makes reference-photo edits less fragile
The hard part of image generation is no longer making one striking picture, but keeping a subject intact while the prompt changes around it. OpenAI’s ChatGPT Images 2.5 targets that workflow with better multi-turn instruction following, faster responses, and stronger preservation of reference photos. The API adds Sunburst for precise edits and Flare for quicker everyday generation, against reported usage of more than 3 billion images across ChatGPT Images and GPT-Image.
