56,000 Americans reveal AI policy’s political comfort zone
AI policy is being designed against a moving public mood: CSAIP and Blue Rose Research tested 79 economic proposals with 56,000 Americans, including AI taxes, data dividends, wage insurance, and a sovereign wealth fund. Support was measured after respondents read arguments for and against, separating policies that sound popular from ideas that can survive basic opposition. That gives policymakers a map of political headwinds, not a shortcut to effective policy.
