Gemini 3.8 Live brings interruptible voice chats to the browser
Developers can try Google’s new Gemini 3.8 Live speech-to-speech models in a browser, including conversations they can interrupt while the model talks. The demo lets you choose a model and voice, add an optional system prompt, and connect directly to Google’s WebSocket API. It uses no libraries, relying on the browser’s Web Audio API for recording and playback.
