Alibaba’s RADAR turns 400,000 CT exams into an open radiology model
Alibaba’s DAMO RADAR gives researchers an open, general-purpose model for abdominal CT analysis, rather than a tool built around one disease or scan type. It learned from more than 400,000 contrast-enhanced CT examinations and 15 million image-text pairs, using clinical reports instead of manual labels. The repository includes inference and evaluation code, demo results, and Apache 2.0 licensed source, with model checkpoints hosted on Hugging Face.
