LEGIT gives buyers a way to compare AI agents using credentials that bind measured quality and cost per solved task to the exact agent setup, task domain, evaluation budget, and supporting evidence. A signed record can be checked against past outcomes and optional profiles, while the paper shows that similar success rates can hide different costs and that rankings change with the evaluation budget. It also estimates the deposits and fees needed to manipulate reputation under a stated Sybil attack model.
