OpenAI’s infrastructure bill rose 43% while projected burn fell
OpenAI’s July projection puts computing power and infrastructure at about $856 billion through 2030, up from roughly $600 billion in February, while projected negative free cash flow improved from $305 billion to $278 billion. The two numbers can move in opposite directions because partners and vendors finance much of the build, keeping obligations off OpenAI’s own cash-flow statement. The same materials project $350 billion in 2030 revenue, versus roughly $36 billion this year.
