Xiaomi open-sources multimodal MiMo models, with a 20x faster option
Developers can now use Xiaomi’s open-source MiMo-V2.6 family for text, image, video, and audio tasks, while keeping the V2.5 API pricing. Pro targets complex, long-running work; Flash trades some capability for efficiency, and Pro-UltraSpeed delivers up to 20x faster output at the same quality. Xiaomi’s published results place Pro ahead of its previous model across coding, tool-use, automation, and visual benchmarks, though it trails some closed models on several tests.
