Jev makes chain-of-thought monitoring 6x faster at 1/566th the cost
Jev could make large-scale chain-of-thought monitoring far cheaper: it classified 2,182 thought traces for $0.12, versus $6.97 with Claude Sonnet 5, while taking 542 ms per trace instead of 3,348 ms. Rather than generating text, Jev outputs certainty scores for fixed options, then compares a trace's harm score with the labeled data. Its exact-match accuracy was 71.5%, nearly tied with Sonnet's 71.4%, but below GPT-5.6 Luna's 79.4%.
