Cloudflare makes Python a production-ready language at the edge
Python developers can now deploy production apps on Cloudflare Workers with general-availability support, without writing JavaScript glue to connect Cloudflare services. Python Workers use the Pyodide interpreter compiled to WebAssembly, and now support frameworks including FastAPI, Django, and Flask plus bindings for AI, storage, databases, queues, and workflows. Cloudflare says the runtime converts Python objects internally, replacing the earlier manual conversion step that commonly caused errors.
