Gemini 4 Argon targets long-horizon work at $2 per million tokens
Google’s Gemini 4 Argon is initially available to trusted cyber defenders, with broader access planned for developers, enterprises, and consumers, starting at $2 per million input tokens and $10 per million output tokens. It sustains deep reasoning across software engineering, legal and finance work, and cybersecurity, handling tasks such as migrating C++ code to Rust. In Google’s libgav1 example, it produced identical video output while running 2.7x faster than the existing Rust port.
