Factory alleges board adviser shared secrets while joining its rival
Factory CEO Matan Grinberg says he removed VC Chris Degnan as a board adviser after learning Degnan was joining Cognition, the maker of rival coding agent Devin, and may have shared confidential information. Degnan disputes that account, saying he resigned, had not shared confidential information, and spoke with Cognition only after his last Factory board meeting. The dispute comes as Factory raises $200 million at a $5 billion valuation.
