Kev brings self-hosted decision models to Jev-compatible apps
Kev 1.0 gives teams four open-source decision models, from 0.8B to 27B parameters, that can replace TypeSafe's Jev by changing an app's endpoint and model name. The models take text, a question, and possible answers, then return a probability for each answer, with Apache-2.0 weights and support for GPUs or Apple Silicon. In the author's evaluation harness, Kev-27B scored 90.8% on sorting consumer complaints, while Kev-9B reached 90.0%.
