Muse Spark helped answer five previously open math questions
Meta says mathematicians used Muse Spark to produce six research papers, five of which answer previously open mathematical questions, giving researchers new arguments to inspect and build on. They worked with Muse Spark 1.1 and 1.2 in Thinking Mode through the regular meta.ai chat interface, without a custom research scaffold, while other mathematicians reviewed the work. Meta also says outside teams independently solved some of the same problems.
