Amazon cuts off Meta’s Muse from shopping for customers
Amazon has blocked Meta’s Muse from shopping on Amazon.com, so customers can no longer use the agent to buy there on their behalf. Amazon says Meta never disclosed the access, Muse does not identify itself while browsing, and it appears to capture and store customer credentials, creating privacy and security risks. The dispute puts control of the checkout relationship between retailers and shopping agents in the spotlight.
