Nano Banana 2.1 brings 1M-token context to image generation
Nano Banana 2.1 lets Gemini users and API developers combine text and images as input, then receive generated images and text, with enough context for up to 1 million tokens. It is based on Gemini 3.6 Flash, and can return images at up to 4K tokens or text at up to 64K tokens. The model card also documents its image-generation and editing evaluations, including multi-image and multi-turn tests.
