Nemotron fine-tuning clears gold thresholds in coding and math

NVIDIA’s Nemotron specialists reached gold-level scores in both the 2026 International Olympiad in Informatics and International Mathematical Olympiad, showing teams can adapt one foundation-model family instead of building separate models for each challenge. The recipe combines curated problems, supervised fine-tuning, reinforcement learning where useful, and a generate-verify-refine loop. IOI-2026 scoring reached 535.4/600, above the 361.12 gold threshold and top human score, while the IMO system scored 30/42 against a 29-point threshold.
