Anthropic adds model abuse to its next Usage Policy update
Anthropic’s updated Usage Policy adds rules addressing abusive behavior toward its models, alongside tighter guidance for influence operations, weapons, surveillance, health, finance, and physical actions. The change reflects Claude taking on longer, more independent work and new misuse patterns observed over the past year. The update takes effect November 12.
