Whistle puts seven-language speech recognition in a 16.9 MB file

Whistle gives mobile, wearable, robot, and microcontroller developers on-device speech recognition in a single 16.9 MB file that runs on the CPU with no dependencies. Feed it up to 30 seconds of 16 kHz mono audio and it can return a transcript, word-level start and end times, and speech embeddings, with language detection across seven languages. A five-beam decoder also supports keyword biasing, so supplied phrases can be nudged higher in the transcript.
