Maia 300 promises 40% more AI output from the same power
Microsoft says Maia 300 will give Copilot, AI agents, and other services 40% more tokens per megawatt, so the same power budget can handle more AI output. At datacentre rack scale, the system is expected to deliver up to seven times Maia 200's token throughput. Microsoft plans multi-gigawatt deployments from 2027 and intends to make Maia its primary inference system for Microsoft products and services.
