Anthropic gives METR insider access to publish independent risk findings
Anthropic has onboarded six METR employees with access roughly comparable to its own risk-assessment teams, giving an outside evaluator enough visibility to assess models and safeguards rather than just review public claims. METR gets company hardware, office space, and internal tools, and will publish its risk-assessment results; Anthropic says access excludes defined areas such as customer data and attorney-client privileged information.
